Child Safety Standards

Last updated: 2026-05-17

Poporlove operates the dating app Pop or Love (together, "Poporlove", "we", "us", or "our"). This page publishes our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and our approach to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), as required by Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy for apps in the Social and Dating categories.

These standards apply to the Pop or Love mobile app (Android and iOS), our website at poporlove.com, and all related services we operate.

1. Zero tolerance

Poporlove has zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM. We prohibit any use of our platform to sexually exploit, abuse, or endanger anyone under 18, or to share, solicit, or distribute CSAM.

Pop or Love is an adults-only service. Users must be at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly permit minors to create accounts or use the service.

2. Definitions

CSAE means child sexual abuse and exploitation, including content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Examples include grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.

CSAM means child sexual abuse material: any visual depiction (including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery) involving a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal. Storing, sharing, or distributing CSAM on Poporlove is strictly prohibited.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not use Pop or Love to:

Additional rules for acceptable use are in our Terms of Service.

4. Prevention and moderation

We work to prevent CSAE and CSAM on Pop or Love through measures that include:

5. Addressing CSAM

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our platform, we take appropriate action in accordance with these standards and applicable law, including:

We do not allow CSAM to remain on Pop or Love once we are aware of it.

6. How to report concerns (in-app and other channels)

Google Play requires an in-app mechanism so users can raise child-safety concerns without leaving the app. Pop or Love provides report and block tools inside the app.

Report someone in chat

This is the primary way to report another member:

  1. Open the Pop or Love app and sign in.
  2. Open your chat with the person you want to report.
  3. Tap the menu in the top-right corner of the chat screen.
  4. Tap Report [name].
  5. Choose a reason. For child-safety concerns, select Underage user. Other options include inappropriate behavior, harassment, inappropriate photos, spam or fake profile, and other.
  6. Add optional details, then tap Submit Report.

From the same chat menu you can also tap Block [name] to stop further contact, or open the report sheet and use the block option there.

Help in the app

For general questions about reporting, go to Profile → Help & Support. That screen explains how to report or unmatch from a chat and how to reach our team.

Outside the app

If you cannot access the app, email safety@poporlove.com with the subject line Child safety report. Include your account email (if applicable), a description of the concern, and any relevant usernames or message identifiers. Do not attach illegal material.

For general support unrelated to child safety, contact support@poporlove.com.

We comply with applicable child-safety and CSAM laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including obligations to report CSAM to designated bodies where required. Our practices are informed by widely recognized industry guidance, including the Tech Coalition child safety standards.

8. Child safety point of contact

10. Changes to these standards

We may update this page as our product, laws, or platform requirements change. We will revise the "Last updated" date when we do. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
