This Privacy Policy explains how Poporlove ("Poporlove", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit poporlove.com or sign up for our waitlist.

Poporlove is an adults-only service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, do not use this site or submit any information.

1. Who we are

The data controller is Poporlove.

2. What we collect

2a. Waitlist (what we collect today)

When you join our waitlist we collect:

• Email address — required, so we can notify you when the app launches.
• Source field — optional, the referral source you submit via the signup form (e.g. "instagram"). Not forwarded to any third party.

We do not collect payment information, identity documents, or location data at this stage.

2b. Automatically collected data

Our hosting and analytics infrastructure collects limited technical data:

• IP address and request metadata (Vercel server logs, retained for up to 30 days).
• Aggregated, anonymised page-view and performance metrics via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These do not use cookies or fingerprinting to track you across sites.

2c. Upon app launch (forward-looking)

Once the Poporlove dating app is live, we expect to collect additional categories of personal data, including but not limited to:

• Profile information (name, date of birth, gender, orientation).
• Photos and media you upload.
• Messages and in-app communications.
• Preferences and matching criteria.
• Approximate or precise location (with your consent).
• Age verification data.
• Payment and billing information (if the service is monetised).

This policy will be updated before app launch to describe exactly how each category is processed.

4. Sharing and subprocessors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the subprocessors listed below:

• Resend, Inc. (US) — email delivery and contact list storage. Your email address is stored on Resend's Contacts API. Resend is bound by a Data Processing Agreement. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel, Inc. (US) — web hosting, edge network, and server-side logs. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

We may disclose your data if required to do so by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Poporlove, our users, or others.

5. International transfers

Poporlove is operated from outside the United States, but our subprocessors (Resend and Vercel) store and process data in the United States. If you are located in the UK or European Economic Area, your data is transferred to the US under standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.

6. Retention

• Waitlist email: retained until you request deletion or the waitlist is closed, whichever comes first. We will not retain it more than 24 months after the app launches without a fresh consent.
• Server logs: up to 30 days, then automatically purged by Vercel.
• Analytics: aggregated, non-identifiable — no fixed deletion schedule.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR (UK/EU residents)

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting lawfulness of prior processing.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g. the ICO in the UK, or your national DPA in the EU).

Under CCPA/CPRA (California residents)

You have the right to:

• Know what personal information is collected about you.
• Delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share data).
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@poporlove.com. We will respond within 30 days (GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA), with one possible extension where permitted by law.

8. Cookies and analytics

We do not set tracking cookies or use third-party advertising pixels. Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights collect anonymised, aggregated performance data without cookies or cross-site fingerprinting. No consent banner is required for these tools under our current data practices, but we will review this before app launch.

9. Security

We use HTTPS throughout and rely on the security controls provided by Vercel (hosting) and Resend (email storage). No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data transmitted over the internet.

10. Children

Poporlove is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us at privacy@poporlove.com.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
