Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using poporlove.com (the "Site") or joining the waitlist operated by Poporlove ("Poporlove", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing the Site or submitting your email to join the waitlist, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Poporlove. They apply to your use of the Site and any services we make available, now or in the future. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the Site after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site or join the waitlist. By using the Site you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.
• You are not prohibited from using the Site under applicable law.

We reserve the right to verify age and to suspend or terminate access for any user we reasonably believe is under 18.

3. Waitlist scope

Poporlove is currently in pre-launch. The only service available at this time is a waitlist that allows interested users to register their email address for early access when the app launches.

• Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the app, an account, or any particular feature.
• We may close, pause, or modify the waitlist at any time without notice.
• We will use your email solely to notify you about the launch and related updates. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
• You may request removal from the waitlist at any time by emailing legal@poporlove.com.

4. Accounts and conduct (upon app launch)

This section describes terms that will apply once the Poporlove dating app is live. These provisions do not apply to the waitlist-only phase.

When accounts are available, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorised use.
• Not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person.
• Not post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or fraudulent.
• Not engage in child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), share child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or use the platform in any way that endangers minors. See our Child Safety Standards.
• Not upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Not use the platform for commercial solicitation, spam, or automated scraping.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including those governing online conduct and privacy.

Violation of these conduct rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

5. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, content, trademarks, and software are owned by or licensed to Poporlove and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (e.g. profile photos or messages upon app launch). By submitting content, you grant Poporlove a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND WAITLIST ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee that joining the waitlist will result in access to the app.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POPORLOVE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE OR SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO POPORLOVE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Poporlove and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any rights of a third party.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or waitlist at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Site at any time. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence may also apply.

11. Dispute resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at legal@poporlove.com and we will try to resolve it informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the proper courts of Metro Manila, Philippines, unless you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, in which case that right is unaffected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. For material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify waitlist members by email. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
